About Us
We are Never Alone Recovery
We exist to redefine the recovery journey, to make sure no one has to walk it without support, understanding, and hope. Our mission is to provide access to compassionate care, meaningful connection, and the tools needed to build a life rooted in freedom and purpose.
No matter where you are in your journey, we believe you deserve to be seen, heard, and supported. Recovery is not one-size-fits-all, and neither are the paths that lead to healing. Our vision goes beyond sobriety alone, we strive to be a place of encouragement, belonging, and restoration for every individual and family we serve. It is your stories, resilience, and courage that shape the heart of Never Alone Recovery.
Walking alongside you through milestones big and small, from the first step toward help to moments of breakthrough, growth, and renewed hope, is an honor we do not take lightly. Each day, we are reminded why this work matters, and with every life touched, we grow more committed to our mission of helping people reclaim their lives and futures.

John Hayes
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
John Hayes is a transformational leader whose life demonstrates the power of resilience, accountability, and purpose-driven
leadership. As Co-Founder and CEO of Never Alone Recovery, he leads a growing movement built on a simple but powerful truth: no one overcomes life’s greatest challenges alone.
Raised in what he later recognized as a deeply dysfunctional environment, John grew up believing chaos was normal. Alcohol, drugs, arrests, and instability surrounded family gatherings, and by seventh grade he was already drinking to fit in. What began as imitation quickly became identity. Despite graduating high school and later serving in the U.S. Army, addiction followed him wherever he went. Alcohol, cocaine, and destructive choices eventually cost him jobs, relationships, and his freedom.
The defining moment of John’s life came on January 6, 2004, when he woke up in a jail cell facing serious charges. Looking at his
reflection, with a three-month-old daughter at home, he said out loud,
“I don’t want to be like this anymore.”
In that moment, he chose fatherhood over addiction. He detoxed in jail and has not had a drink or drug since that day.
Through mentorship, accountability, community, and spiritual renewal, John rebuilt his life from the inside out. He immersed
himself in recovery fellowship, completed 90 meetings in 90 days —twice— and earned a college degree that launched a successful career in business leadership and strategic growth.
John quickly distinguished himself in the corporate world as a strategic growth leader and relationship-driven executive. He rose
from Network Lead Generation Manager to Vice President, leading digital generation networks, negotiating high-value media
partnerships, and building scalable revenue channels through innovative and data-driven marketing strategies. He led national
initiatives that helped alternative investment firms raise capital through strategic advertising and investor outreach while
consistently exceeding demanding targets. John further expanded his leadership experience advising organizations on workforce
strategy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, helping businesses navigate complex federal regulations while
strengthening engagement, productivity, and performance.
After two decades sober, a life-altering eye surgery became a moment of renewed humility and spiritual awakening. He was
baptized and committed to following Christ, embracing the Beatification:
“Blessed are those seeking spirituality, for they shall inherit serenity.”
From this lifelong evolution emerged the Never Alone philosophy, the conviction that recovery is not a solitary, “white-knuckling”
effort, but a complete transformation of mindset, relationships, and environment. True freedom comes through connection,
accountability, faith, and service.
Today, John dedicates his life to helping others break the cycle he once lived in. Through Never Alone Recovery and the live-stream series Never Alone Live, he leads honest conversations about addition, leadership faith, and resilience. John works to eliminate stigma, strengthen families, and remind individuals that no matter how dark their past, redemption is possible.
John’s message is clear: recovery is possible. Change is possible. But it requires humility, courage, and community. The same
experiences that once nearly destroyed his life have become the foundation of his purpose, building people up and showing them, they are never alone.
