Will my name, email, or other identifying information be collected?

No, none of your personal or identifying information will be associated with your responses.

Although you must sign into a Google account to complete our surveys, every submission is anonymized. This means that none of your identifying information (i.e. name, email) will be associated with your submission unless the survey explicitly states otherwise.

How long do the surveys take?

Unless otherwise stated at the start of each survey, it should take you no more than 5 minutes to complete one of our surveys.

What types of questions are on the surveys?

Our surveys are comprised of multiple-choice, linear-scale, and short answer questions.

For multiple-choice questions, you will be given a question or prompt in addition to a selection of answers. This type of question can require either one or multiple selections, as denoted on each question.

Questions with a linear scale allow you to provide a rating. For example, you might be asked to rate something on a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 indicating "Not very good" and 5 indicating "Amazing."

Short answer questions give you the ability to respond in your own words. There is no length requirement for this type of question so you're welcome to answer in as much or as little depth as you'd like.

Can you take a survey multiple times?

Our surveys have the most value when participants can only take each survey once. To achieve this, you'll be asked to sign into your Google account. However, none of your identifying information (e.g. name, email) is associated with your submission because every submission is anonymized.

Why are you collecting surveys?

Have you ever noticed on receipts, or perhaps requests coming into your email inbox after making an online purchase, where it asks you to fill out a customer satisfaction survey? These surveys are commonly-used tool for assessing the quality of the customer experience.

Well, our surveys have nearly the same function as customer satisfaction surveys.

By filling out our surveys, give us the ability to assess the quality of the services that we provide to our community. Feedback solicited from the NAR community will help to strengthen the resources and support that we provide.
